Meet Gizmo, the horse with a name that fits him perfectly. Gizmo meaning, a device that gets the job done, is exactly his approach to anything you throw at him. Every time we have introduced something to Gizmo he takes it in stride willing to “get the job done”. From moving cattle, dragging and tracking our roping dummy, pulling wake-boarders down the pond, and lots of calm cool trail rides Gizmo has always been up for the task. It takes a special horse to work in the arena and promptly step off to let your 6 and 3 your old kids enjoy him too. Trail riding Gizmo is a breeze. Whether crossing creeks, being on the road, or seeing deer and other wildlife he’s always calm making you forget you are riding a 3 year old. Used to pony our kids trail riding his temperament and mental maturity truly don’t match his age. Gizmo will go down as one of the calmest 3 year olds we’ve had.
